Juliar, Nicholas and family. Clippings, Undated

Abstract

This collection contains two newspaper clippings concerning the family of Nicholas Juliar (1841 - 1920) of St. Clair, Minnesota. Juliar was a banker, auctioneer, and member of the Minnesota House of Representatives for two terms. One of the clippings deals with his sister, Salome Juliar-Ringling, who was the mother of the famous Ringling brothers of circus fame. The other clipping is a photocopy of an article written in 1902 about Nicholas Juliar for an unknown newspaper.

This collection consists of item once belonging to Sidney Kienitz, of Good Thunder, Minnesota. Kienitz was the publisher of the Herald from 1946 – 1971, and a long time resident of the Good Thunder area. The collection contains items relating to the publishing of the Good Thunder Herald and to the history of Good Thunder. The collection contains photographs, newspaper clippings, and published and unpublished articles about Good Thunder.

Abstract This collection is comprised of the ledger of the Kinne & White grocery and crockery store, which operated in Mankato, Minnesota from 1866 until 1867. James G. Kinne and Albert S. This collection consists of a videotape of a television program about Charles A. Lindbergh. The program is narrated by Dr. Bruce L. Larson, a member of the Minnesota State University, Mankato faculty, who also served as the historical consultant. The program was produced by KTVI-TV of St. Louis, Missouri, with cooperation from the Missouri Historical Society. The film concentrates on Lindbergh's 1923 - 1927 activities in St. Louis.
